Fascism is the goal
Wake Up! Fascism is the goal.
What Donald Trump really wants to achieve; a complete destruction of our “liberal” Democracy into a Neo Fascist state with all power vested in the office of his presidency.
The objectives of the Trump administration are to seek retribution against all who oppose him, undermine the Constitution and the institutional pillars of government, and create an oligarchical, autocratic structure that ascribes predominate power to the Executive Branch. This will allow Trump to circumvent legislative and judicial authority thereby ending the balance of powers of between the three branches of government. Project 2025 outlines the means and methods that will be used to accomplish these objectives.
A favorite tool employed by the Trump is to use cruelty and deceit and create chaos, fear and doubt in the minds of the American people that any institution or government program has merit.
Most insidious is his actions is to turn Americans against each other by using dehumanizing language referring to Democrats as “vermin,” “parasites” and “scum.”
Additional actions used by the Trump to undermine our government include:
· Attacking the press by continually referring it as “the enemy of the people.”
· Seeking retribution by attacking preeminent judges and private citizens by name who rule against the administration or has spoken out with the objective of intimidating through fear.
· Undermining the Department of Justice by firing non-partisan senior level Attorneys and installing Lawyers who’s loyalty is first to Donald Trump, not the Constitution.
· Firing senior level FBI agents who were part of investigating Trump for malfeasance during his first term including the attack on the Capital January 6th, 2020.’
· Pardoning January 6th convicted coup plotters and over a thousand other people who committed violence against police officers in an attempt to overthrow our government.
· Abusing his pardon power by pardoning convicted criminals who have plead guilty and given millions of dollars to Trump and sworn their support for him.
· Abusing immigration laws to deport immigrants denying them “due process” while disregarding direct rulings from the court.
· Giving Elon Musk, who has serious conflicts of interest, unfettered access and control over every government agency to carry out arbitrary firing of employees, shutting down government agencies and financially gutting others that are the sole purview of Congress.
· Attacking private universities while demanding control over their daily operations under the guise of preventing antisemitism behavior and DEI protocols.
· Literally removing and rewriting parts of our American history that honor woman and people of color.
· Continually signing frivolous Executive Orders that are blatantly unconstitutional.
· Provide “aid and comfort” to Putin and Russia, who invaded Ukraine and who is directly responsible for killing thousands of Ukrainians and kidnapping thousands of children from Ukraine among many other war crimes perpetrated by Russia.
· Unconstitutionally circumventing Congress by arbitrarily applying tariffs to hundreds of nations causing huge economic disruption throughout the world and the very real possibility of a global recession.
· Attacking close allies with threats of economic destruction or military takeover.
· Relinquishing global leadership by threatening to disengage from NATO.
As articulated in Project 2025, this will be a “soft Coup” by a million cuts unless we, the American people step into the breach and speak with one voice regardless of one’s political party against this assault on our Freedoms and our ideals of fairness, honesty, personal integrity. We must be pillars that show the same faithfulness as our founding fathers manifested in creating our American experiment of ultimate power of the government residing in the governed: “We the people.”
In the immortal words of Benjamin Franklin when asked if we are a monarchy or a republic immediately following the adoption of the Constitution 238 years ago:
”A Republic if you can keep it. “
Not since the Civil War in 1860 have America faced a challenge to our governance and to our “grand experiment” that recognizes all people are created equally with inalienable rights: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Our time to overcome this pernicious assault against America is now. Failure is not an option.
